The Maryland Healthy Alternatives Association (MHAA) is dedicated to advocating for equitable and fair practices in the cannabis and hemp industries in Maryland. We focus on challenging monopolistic market structures and restrictive legislation to ensure a level playing field for small and minority-owned businesses. Our efforts include lobbying for legislative reforms, educating the public on the realities of the cannabis market, and promoting social equity and inclusivity. We actively engage in legal battles and policy discussions to protect the interests of small entrepreneurs, aiming to foster a diverse, innovative, and thriving industry for all stakeholders.

We also organize events and workshops to educate the community on healthy alternatives to pharmaceutical products. Our programs and projects focus on defending the rights of small business owners in the hemp industry and ensuring that every Marylander has access to alternative health options.
